Easy learning with myPhraser, how does it work?

MyPhraser follows the concept of learning in complete sentences. This means you automatically learn the correct grammar and don't have to struggle with stubbornly learning individual words. And you do it all in a fun way!

Even without registering, you already have the following options:

In most of myPhraser's games you have various selection options of sentences in your native language. In the main myPhraser games "Fill the sentence" and "Say the sentence", you receive the sentences in your native language, which you can easily translate with the help of the programme. The game "Say the sentence" is particularly quick, where you can have the programme give you as many letters as you like and then just have to fill in the gaps, orally!

Selection criteria for all games with sentences:

- you choose your source language, normally your mother tongue.

- you choose your main learning language, but you can practise other languages at the same time.

- you can use any of the 7 myPhraser languages as your source language or learning language

- you set your level and only receive sentences for this level of difficulty. You can change the level at any time.

Further options

- you enter a word in your native language and only receive sentences in which the word appears

- or you enter a word in the learning language and practise with it

- you only display sentences that contain idioms

- you select sentences that contain facts that help you learn interesting content on the side

- you select certain types of sentences, such as interrogative sentences

- you select sentences with certain expressions, e.g. vulgar

you will find further selection criteria.

- you can use categories to select sentences for specific areas of knowledge, such as countries from around the world

- you can select verbs in basic form and tense and use them to select sentences

- you can also select specific vocabulary and word groups 

As a registered user, you have even more options:

- Repeat sentences that you have solved with less than 80 per cent. You can filter these by days in the past

- Select sentences with vocabulary, word groups and phrases that you have saved from the lists in your learning vocabulary

- Select sentences that you have previously saved under your favourites

- Select sentences that you have entered yourself, which have either already been approved by the admin or not yet

Interesting and fun games

In the games "Wrong answer" and "Crazy sentences" you get randomly twisted questions and answers or sample sentences that you have to correct. This can result in very funny word combinations.

- In the word games, you can display the corresponding sentences after solving them

- In the creative games, you have to create words, sentences or entire stories yourself and can be helped by the programme.

- you can play all the games on your own, some can also be played with other players as a competition

Creative games

In these games, you can put your skills to the test by finding words, forming sentences or answering questions yourself. You can get help from the programme. 

If you play alone, you have to judge your performance yourself; if you play with friends, your performance will be judged by them.
